Join Dr. Ashley Rieger for plant meditations at Fettle Botanic Bend the 2nd Wednesday evening of every month. Here, we will explore the question, “How does this plant make me feel?” Each class will focus on tasting an unnamed medicinal plant and then participate in a brief guided group meditation to focus on the subtle (or not so subtle) effects we notice. Afterwards, we will have an opportunity to share our observations and then learn all of the physical and energetic qualities this plant has to offer. $10-$15 sliding scale Dr. Ashley Rieger is a board certified naturopathic doctor, who has a passion for herbs and herbal medicine. She recently graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon and feels honored to call Bend home now. She loves all things plants- from identifying them, growing them to educating others on how to recognize and use them in their daily lives. She will be licensed to practice medicine in August and currently works on Wednesdays at Fettle here in Bend. Ashley has studied with many herbalists in Colorado, Ohio, and Oregon. Prior to Naturopathic medical school, she made herbal products for an apothecary in Colorado and completed a 2 month-long native medicinal internship with the United Plant Savers at their headquarters in Rutland, Ohio.
