“Happy New Year Everyone! I am so grateful for all the support we have received this first year of our opening and was overwhelmed by all the fabulous treats and gifts people brought to us over the holidays! It has been an amazing, wonderful, exhausting and at times heart breaking year.
I am incredibly proud of the work we do here and our commitment to the animal community of Bend. We have helped find homes for 18 animals thus far and started a cooperative program with HSCO, the Leg Up program, to help make adopting an older pet or a pet with a medical issue less of a financial burden. We currently have two very sick but improving kittens in our hospital that will need homes in a few weeks and a Corgi that is being fostered by our office manager, Kristin. She still needs to lose more weight and needs more dental work (we alreday pulled 16 teeth!) but will also be looking for a home in another month or so. Thanks to all those who have donated to help defray some of the costs for our foster “kids”.
We will be starting our free monthly lectures again this month – date and subject to be determined. Please let us know what you want to learn about!
Once again, thanks to all of our fabulous clients and the community of Bend. I cannot think of any place I would rather be living or working. Also a big thanks to my amazing staff – none of this would be possible without their hard work. I look forward to all that 2016 will offer!
